VICTORIA WATSON

Victoria Watson is the director of policy and engagement at Forward Arkansas. Forward Arkansas was established by the Walton Family Foundation and the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation and works in close partnership with stakeholders at the Arkansas Department of Education and statewide to improve educational outcomes for all students.
Victoria previously served as the assistant director of K–12 education relationships and development at the Philanthropy Roundtable. Before joining the Roundtable, she served as the associate policy director at the Foundation for Excellence in Education (ExcelinEd). She also worked for Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-AR), managing his education policy portfolio, establishing his legislative correspondence program, and directing his internship program.
Victoria received a BA in politics from Washington and Lee University, where she minored in education policy and poverty and human capability studies. She has been deeply involved in her alumni association and served as president of the Washington D.C. alumni board, which has over 3,000 members.
