John is the Chief Operating Officer at Elevate USA.  Elevate USA is a national nonprofit that replicates a teaching and mentoring model that originated in Denver that focuses on whole-child development in economically disadvantaged communities.  Now in 17 cities across the country, Elevate USA is on pace to scale to 29 cities by 2025.

 

John has spent over two decades in the social sector organization focused on education, mentoring and youth leadership. Prior to Elevate USA, John served for 6 years as Chief Program Officer at ACE scholarships, headquartered in Colorado, which provides scholarships to low-income students in grades K-12 to attend the private school of their choice.  While at ACE, John helped to scale the program from 3 states to 8, engaging in public policy to advance school choice for low-income families.

 

John attended Colorado Christian University and received a BA in Social Sciences with a minor in urban studies and outdoor leadership.
