For over two decades, John has held leadership positions in social sector organizations focused on education, workforce, mentoring and youth leadership.

 

He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at The Master's Apprentice, a Colorado nonprofit that offers a 6-week pre-apprenticeship program for young adults from low-income backgrounds. Previously, John was COO at Elevate USA, a national nonprofit that replicates a teaching and mentoring model that originated in Denver that focuses on whole-child development in economically disadvantaged communities, and also served as Chief Program Officer at ACE scholarships, which provides scholarships to low-income students in grades K-12 to attend the private school of their choice.  
 

John attended Colorado Christian University and received a BA in Social Sciences with a minor in urban studies and outdoor leadership.
